Dental prosthetics
Welcome to our section dedicated to dental prosthetics. In this section, you will understand and visualize the dental prosthetics that may be offered at our clinic. All our interventions are carried out with consideration of our dentists’ opinions to ensure optimal results tailored to your situation.
Dental crowns
Dental crowns are fixed prosthetics that cover a damaged tooth to restore its shape, size, and strength. Here are the different types of crowns available:
- Metal Crowns: Long used in dentistry, they are generally utilized for molars. They are often covered by Social Security under the 100% health care basket.
- Ceramo-Metal Crowns: A combination of metal and ceramic, they have also been widely used in dentistry.
- All-Ceramic Crowns: Highly aesthetic, they can be used on all teeth. They are often the most recommended crown.
- Zirconia Crowns: Known for their strength and natural appearance, they have a white finish without color degradation.
Note: The choice of the appropriate crown always requires the opinion of a dentist from our clinic.

Dental bridges
The dental bridge is a fixed prosthesis used to replace one or more missing teeth by relying on adjacent teeth. It is important to note that the teeth on each side are already damaged enough to consider this type of treatment, it is rarely indicated to damage the healthy adjacent teeth. A precise diagnosis by the dentist is essential to determine the situation that suits you.

Inlay, Onlay and Overlay
Inlays, onlays and overlays are partial restorations used to repair a damaged tooth without the need for a full crown. These modern techniques make it possible to preserve as much healthy dental tissue as possible. They are particularly indicated when the damage caused by decay is severe enough that a direct composite resin is not sufficient to strengthen the tooth adequately for normal function, such as chewing.
These restorations are made from durable materials such as ceramic or composite resin, and are designed to fit perfectly with the treated tooth, providing an aesthetic and functional solution.
Note: The choice between inlay, onlay and overlay will be made by your dentist depending on the condition of the tooth.

Removable prostheses
Removable dentures, commonly called “dentures,” are used to replace multiple missing teeth and can be removed by the patient. These appliances can be used temporarily to replace a tooth while it can be replaced with an implant or over the longer term. There are 2 types of removable devices:
- Resin prostheses: Often used as a temporary solution or for limited budgets. They are partially reimbursed by Social Security.
- Stellite prostheses: More comfortable and durable, they are made of a metal base and are lighter.
Note: Each type of removable prosthesis must be carefully evaluated by our team of dentists to ensure that it meets your specific needs.
