Initial treatment of gum or periodontal disease

We offer initial treatment for gum or periodontal disease, aimed at restoring the health of the gums and supporting tissues. Steps include :

• Professional Cleaning with Thorough Scaling : This step is often called “root planing”. This consists of the elimination of tartar and dental plaque accumulated under the gums. Once the bacteria are eliminated, this will promote the re-adhesion of the gums to the teeth.
• Before and After Photo : it is possible that the doctor will show you the visible results of the treatment through before and after photos, showing the improvement in the health of the gums and the restoration of the aesthetics of the smile.
