Course overview
A cast post and core that will not come out, a bonded fibre post, a tooth that may be cracked… and the doubt: do I remove it, keep it or refer? This day gives you a clear method to decide, then the techniques to do it without weakening the tooth. In the morning: diagnosis of cracks and fractures, “to remove or not to remove”, removal of prosthetic elements and post-and-core restorations (metal and fibre posts), then the first steps of endodontic retreatment. In the afternoon: hands-on practice with the operating microscope and 3D CBCT reading. A small-group course built on shared clinical experience.
Who is it for
This course is open only to holders of a degree in dental surgery (DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent) and to final-year dental students entitled to practise.
